Why measurement taken from body and taken from item is not same? - Comments (0)

In every measurement we are asking that “Measurement taken from” then we are giving 2 options. One is “Body” and another is “Item”.  Generally people think that both the measurements are same. But it’s not true. Both measurements are very different.

For example, in salwar kameez, if bust size is 36 inch. So when you take the measurement from the body it will show you the 36 inch on measure tape but if you take the measurement from your perfectly fitted salwar kameez then it will give you the result of 40 inch. Similar way if you take the measurement for waist from body and if it gives you the result of 30 inch and if you take the same measurement from the perfectly fitted salwar kameez then it will gives you the result of 32 inch.

Measurement also depends on the item type. For example if your bust size is 36 inch, when you measure the size from the perfectly fitted salwar kameez, it gives you the result of 40 inch but if you take the same measurement from the perfectly fitted blouse then it will gives you the result of 38 inch. In blouse bust size also depends on the deepness of the neck. If blouse neck is deep then it will be lower also.

Now you will think that measurement changes on item wise, pattern wise then how to take accurate measurement for online buying.

Our first and recommended solution is that if you have similar pattern and perfectly fitted item then you can submit the item measurement, So we can stitching the item with the same measurement without making any changes.

But if you don’t have similar item then you can choose the body measurement and submit your body measurement. In this case we will stitching the item with your given measurement by considering the item pattern and design. Also we will put the 2 inch alterable margin to make the alteration possible at your end.
